The story of the film revolves around the B phase block of Sunshine colony. Srinu (Abhijith) and his sisters Sathya(Rashmi) and Chinni are sent to stay with their maternal grandparents and uncle by their mother (Amala), who has to go away for an extended period of time. They soon become thick friends with Abhi (Kaushik) and Nagraj (Sudhakar) and go about their daily life, experiencing small joys.

Youngsters of the B phase block have a long standing rivalry with the arrogant rich kids of the Gold Phase of the Sunshine Colony. Paru (Shriya), an aspiring Miss India contestant, stays here but she is soft and gentle. She has a huge admirer in the form of Abhi, who is head over heels in love with her. Srinu also falls in love with his maradalu Paddu (Shagun) while Nagraj falls in love with Lakshmi (Zara). He also has a huge crush on Maya Aunty (Anjala Zaveri), who is a glamorous beautician in the colony.

As the rivalry between B phase and Gold phase intensifies, the story takes many emotional twists and turns. Relationships keep going through a roller coaster ride and the usual pangs of teenage love take over. But the lives of Srinu and his friends get a rude jolt when they come to know about an uncomfortable truth regarding Amala. What is that truth? What happens to the relationships of these youngsters? Will they succeed in their goals? That forms the story. .

The story begins with Tanikella Bharani, the owner of a private security firm sending Venkatadri (Venkatesh) to work as the Bodyguard of Prakash Raj. Venkatadri readily agrees as Prakash Raj had saved his life and that of his mother when they met with an accident during his childhood.

Venkatadri lands up in the village of Prakash Raj. Soon he learns that the real threat is not to Prakash Raj but his daughter Keerthi. Kota Srinivasa Rao and his son are after the life of Keerthi in order to take revenge for the death of Kota"s son.

Prakash Raj sends the Bodyguard to safeguard his daughter Keerthi who is studying in a college in the city. Swathi (Saloni) and Ali accompany Keerthi and Bodyguard. Keerthi cannot stand the Bodyguard following her all the time. She plays a prank on him in order to disturb him and hopes that this will keep him of her back. She keeps calling him up and telling him that she loves him.

Bodyguard is an innocent guy who believes that a girl is really in love with him. In a sudden twist, Keerthi starts loving the Bodyguard for his sincerity and honesty. She however does not reveal this to him and continues to call him in the name of 'Bangaram".

Venkatadri has the highest regard for Prakash Raj and so Keerthi is sure that he will never marry her if he learns that she is the one who has been calling him and proposing love. When Keerthi"s marriage is fixed with Subba Raju she has no other option but to take a firm decision. She plans to elope with Venkatadri but is not sure if he will agree.

Meanwhile Prakash Raj learns that Venkatadri is running away with his daughter but it is not the case as Venkatadri does not know the identity of the caller. What happens next? Will Keerthi elope with Venkatadri? Or will Prakash Raj kill Venkatadri. This is the suspense element that unfolds on the screen in the remaining part of the story. .

Plot:

At a time when Mumbai Police, headed by Police Commissioner (Nassar), announce that the much dreaded Mafia Raj is completely wiped out in the city, and there are no under world Bhai's in Mumbai, a rookie named Surya (Mahesh Babu) lands in the country's commercial capital with an intention to become a Mafia Don. His friend (Brahmaji) receives him and brings him to Dharavi. He offers him shelter and tells him that he would soon fetch him a job so that he can settle down in life. But Surya wants to carve an identity for himself, by reorganizing Mumbai's Mafia Raj and eventually rule Mumbai. He then mocks as a cop and gets his first bounty and then he forms a gang of his own. Surya meets up with a local politician Laalu (Sayaji Shinde) who is in trouble and offers him help. Surya begins recruiting criminals and gangsters in Mumbai and starts to Extort people for money. He slowly gains momentum and in the process becomes popular and feared among the people.
In his pursuit of power and achieving his goal of getting India rid of crime he shifts his attention towards the upcoming Indian parliament elections. He with the help of Laalu meets up with Guru Govind Patel (Raza Murad), head of the opposition party. He makes a deal with him and offers him INR35000 crore (US$5.6 billion) for election campaigning and also promises him that he would make him the prime minister of India. Surya uses the money and starts to make an impact on the elections. He spends millions on every constituency in India and also makes Jai Dev unable to contest in the elections. After knowing that Jai dev has kidnapped Chitra to seek revenge on him, he fights of the Jai Dev's goons and eventually kills him and saves Chitra. It is shown at the end that he had successfully installed Guru Govind Patel as the Prime Minister of India and is seen with Chitra, who accepts his love.

Rishi (Prabhas) is a happy-go-lucky guy who is the son of Bhupathi (Krishnam Raju). Rishi is influenced by his father's ideals and grows just like his father. But Bhupathi doesn't want his son to follow the violence and make more enemies. He sends his son to Bangalore for his higher studies and learn music. There Rishi falls for Deepali (Deeksha Seth), an orphan and brings her to his house in the disguise of his old music teacher as he wants his father to be happy that he doesn't take up the violence. During the festivals held in their village, the truth is revealed in the fight between the thugs sent by Simhadri (Pradeep Rawat) to kill Bhupathi and Rishi saves his father by eliminating all the thugs. Simhadri, on the other hand, joins hands with Bhupathi's brother (Mukesh Rishi) and kills Bhupathi and Deepali in a temple. Rishi sets to avenge his family and is assisted by Raju (Supreet), who had assisted Bhupathi. He finds that there is another person named Stephen (K. C. Shankar) involved in the disaster along with his father's brother (now changed to Robert). Rishi now sets a trap to find the whereabouts of Stephen and Robert, who are ruling the underworld,using their assistant Nanu. For that, he makes Nandini (Tamanna), daughter of Nanu, to fall for him. In the end he kills the goons and unites with Nandini.
